On February 27, 2026, a proven format was revived in collaboration with universities in Berlin and Brandenburg: With »DeinStudium. 2026«, the regional universities’ study fair - which was once organized by the FU Berlin under the name “Studieren in Berlin und Brandenburg” - made a successful comeback.
Over 30 regional universities/higher education institutions and subject-specific counseling institutions participated in the premiere, and we welcomed around 550 students to the Ludwig Erhard Haus on the day of the fair - despite the last-minute BVG strike. The offerings were complemented by three themed areas: “Teacher Training,” “Vocational Training,” and the “Information Point for Refugees.” Exciting insights were also provided by the interdisciplinary student projects from TU Berlin, TH Wildau, and FU Berlin - ranging from race cars to virtual metascales to learning factories. A diverse program of workshops and forums featuring 21 presentations with information and opportunities for discussion on the topic of studying complemented the information provided by the participating higher education institutions.
